1. Innovation: Everyday nutrition to functional nutrition
- Identify innovative growth opportunities in the functional nutrition category- (e.g., physical and athletic performance, gut health, heart health, weight management and cognitive benefits)
- Develop novel scalable processes for lactose-free milk products
- Develop processes and innovative dairy ingredient technologies to improve the stability of high-protein dairy-based nutritional beverages
- Strategies to improve quality (sensory and product) of ESL (Extended Shelf Life) and aseptic dairy beverages in functional nutrition (e.g., physical and athletic performance, gut health, and cognitive benefits)
- Strategies to improve the functionality of milk/dairy beverages when used as an ingredient in various applications (improve foaming in coffee, increase stability in coffee beverages, etc.)
